Sleeping In - My Purpose for Today

Today, I wanted to sleep in the bed. All day. That was the purpose I had for me this morning. My son had different plans. LOL So, I slept in as long as I could.
Now, what can I do to further find and work on my purpose? I always look for my obstacles first. If my bills don't get paid, I don't survive. So, survival is priority. That means keeping a job and steady income. Great. Covered.
What next? Hmmmm... daily invocation.
in·vo·ca·tion
/ˌinvəˈkāSH(ə)n/
noun
noun: invocation
the action of invoking something or someone for assistance or as an authority.
"the invocation of new disciplines and methodologies"
the summoning of a deity or the supernatural.
"his invocation of the ancient mystical powers"
an incantation used for this.
plural noun: invocations
(in the Christian Church) a form of words such as “In the name of the Father” introducing a prayer, sermon, etc.
Origin
late Middle English: via Old French from Latin invocatio(n-), from the verb invocare (see invoke).
Pastor Alaine Strozier recently did a live video on Facebook about speaking over your day, your life, and your surroundings when you wake up in the morning. Speaking invocation allows you to invoke and summon the presence of God in your day. Asking Him to be present with and around you. I enjoyed this video and you definitely should check it out.
Today, I begin a daily routine of invocation so that it can become second nature. Speaking over my life is the best thing I can do for me. This is a good addition to my Purpose Journey!
What do you purpose to do today?
