Rump or Rumpelstiltskin

Now that I am single, I have been offered the strangest of things in return for my attention and time. The usual being money, food, compliment after compliment, and even vacations. The newest being the promises of amazing encounters in bed. I was ill-prepared to have a man be "interested in me" and try to get my attention by declaring his ultimate power.... his "bedroom boom." LOL
I don't particularly fall in love in the bed and definitely don't go looking for love there. I prefer to know someone... truly know them before I even think about syncing souls. I like to leave sex out of it so that the waves of communication are clean so that we can truly get to know one another. A lot of men tell me how awesome they are in bed. I am so hesitant to give out my number because I don't want to access my phone to your manhood in my face. That is also something new for me. So, I am asking my followers this question. "So, what's the purpose of dating in this day and time?" Is anyone looking for genuine and sincere relationships anymore? Have women contributed to the way a man approaches us? Have we given the notion that it's what we want or that it's acceptable? I NEVER believe a guy when he begins to share how awesome he is in bed and I don't speak with him much after that... I quickly think, you don't have a brain... because you think from... well, you get the picture. (no pun intended) It reminds me of Rumplestiltskin... he put in work 3 times for a woman and when it was time for his reward, he bargained and lost. He was dooped and I refuse to be Rumplestiltskinned by these present-day boys on the market. Don't fall victim ladies and gentleman! Let me know what you think!
